Terms of service

Last updated September 25, 2026

Sortle is operated by Afif Bin Alam, a sole proprietor. These terms apply when you use the Sortle browser extension or buy Sortle Pro. By installing or buying Sortle, you agree to them.

What Sortle is

Sortle is a browser extension that adds folders, search, pinned chats and saved prompts to ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. The free version has limits. Sortle Pro removes them.

Sortle Pro

Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payments, invoicing, sales tax and VAT, and refund processing. Product support is provided by us.

Refunds

You can get a full refund within 14 days of buying. See the refund policy.

Other sites

Sortle works on websites run by OpenAI, Anthropic and Google, and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by them. When those sites change, some Sortle features may stop working until we release a fix. We work to fix these quickly but can't guarantee how long a fix takes.

Fair use

Please don't try to get around Sortle's purchase checks, copy or resell the extension, or use it to break the rules of the sites it works with.

Your data

Sortle stores your folders and prompts in your own browser, so clearing your browser data or uninstalling removes them. How we handle data is explained in the privacy policy.

No warranty

Sortle is provided as is. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we don't promise it will be free of bugs or always available.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about Sortle is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page, and big changes will be announced in the extension.
